Chinatown Newspaper held a circus-themed, back-to-school party at Bar 35 on Saturday night, appropriately named The Circus. Party attendees were encouraged to come in costume, ranging from the fun to the bizarre. A saucy variety show was held in collaboration with Cherry Blossom Cabaret, featuring Professor Pandemonium. The party was held to say farewell to veteran Chinatown Newspaper staff member, Valerie Sanchez. Live music was provided by The Nine Pound Hammer. The night culminated with Cirque du Soleil tickets being given away to select lucky party attendees.
