Loading Zone in Chinatown opened its doors Monday night to host the Mele Mei press event. Mele Mei is a monthlong festival of Hawaiian music, hula, and culture, happening this May. The press event featured local musical talent such as Kings of Spade and EMKE. Guests included social media mavens, musical artists, and members of the media. Pupu and refreshments were provided by Poi Planet and Mele Mei.
