Party pics: First Friday November 2012

We hit the happening spots during November’s First Friday art walk, including Dia de los Muertos at The Loading Zone, Lotus, Mojo Barbershop’s first anniversary and JJ Dolan’s fourth anniversary

We hit the happening spots during November’s First Friday art walk, saying hello and happy anniversary to Mojo Barbershop, celebrating their first anniversary, and JJ Dolan’s, celebrating their fourth anniversary with free pizza and a fundraiser for hurricane victims on the East Coast. Then we headed up Hotel Street to check out Dia de los Muertos at The Loading Zone and the scene at Lotus Downtown.

The Mojo Barbershop: an Ice Cube and Queen Latifah hair salon/barber shop movie comes to my mind.

I love the Loading Zone pictures ! Mojo Barbershop: will have to check it out - it reminds me of Da Wig Shop (on Kalakaua Avenue, in the bulding that once had the nightclub, Apartment 3). JJ Dolan: I like their pizza and beer (went there once on a Saturday morning, to watch a football game). It had a laid back atmosphere; there was a birthday party going on at the same time.
