    damn, Doc. you’re right. both my wife and i are online right now, wireless and six feet away from that blinky thang. she’s sending CAD files back and forth to SC and i’m watching you and yer starting to break up. mayday mayday, i’m going in……***

     @turkfontaine I sit right next to my router and have it hooked up via wifi…I just hate messing with cabling.  Doc is right though…

     @Jerome Koehler @turkfontaine I go wireless by default and switch to wired when I’m dealing with large files. One big reason for WiFi is the iPad though (I don’t have 3G on mine).

     @CAPSUN We are not saying to ditch WiFi all together just not use it as your main connection to your computer when you have the availability to plug in directly

    DJT:  Thanks for the run down which is very helpful.  I use the WiFi since my DSL router in in the living room and computer is in the bedroom.  But I do experience slowness so will run a cable when that happens.
