Eat the Street April

Ah the first Eat The Street to be affected by weather. I got there after the early big downpour and it was OK for the rest of the night. It was good for me as an attendee as I was able to park in the lot for the first time and less people made for a more chill atmosphere. I stayed all the way to the end. However I think the trucks would have obviously wanted more people to show up.

Other factors that affected the crowd, in my opinion: no Gogi Korean Taco Truck (can't help that, but hey they were a big draw), also it seemed like this Eat The Street's promo started a little later than usual as well both on this site and on TV. I think promo needs to get going earlier like before. This event is still new and I don't think people are used to the fact that it's gonna be the last Friday of each month yet.

But anyway like I said I had a good time. There seemed to be more trucks that had smaller offerings of their food so I could sample more. I also tried to avoid places that had food that would make me full too early, which is what happened to me the previous ETS. Flip't Out Eats had a nice debut, Inferno's Wood Fire Pizza looked like they were doing good as well. As always can't wait for the next one! :-)

I loved the editions of the new vendors. Flipt Out was awesome. Thanks Poni :)

It's really cool to hear how successful Eat the Street has been. I just wish I could experience one for myself, but it seems I'm just going to miss the next one. If only I could fly in a couple of days earlier!
