Come to SF with us

Jerome Koehler and I are taking a trip to Macworld/iWorld 2013, and we’re inviting you to come along with us

Posted November 15, 2012 by Shawn "Doc Rock" Boyd

Want to go to one of those really cool computer expos in the Mainland, but don’t really want to go alone? Are you a fan of Apple devices and want to learn how to get more out of them? Do you just like traveling and want to go to San Francisco for a week at a really great rate?

If any of these describe you, we have a deal you need to check out.

Jerome Koehler, my fellow Nonstop Honolulu tech podcaster, and I are taking a trip to one of America’s biggest computer expos, Macworld/iWorld 2013, which runs from Jan. 31 through Feb. 2, 2013, and we’re inviting you to come along with us to Macworld 2013.

Macworld is the ultimate fan event for Mac and Apple lovers worldwide, held at none other than the grand Moscone Center in the heart of San Francisco. This three-day event features more than 60 tech talks, not to mention live music, film festivals, art showcases, hundreds of exhibits and showcases of the latest Mac and Apple products, and a LIVE zone, where technology comes to life in your very hands! You can meet the developers of your favorite apps, get those pressing questions answered, experience hands on some of the tech you are planning to buy or just have a blast with the Nonstop Tech crew. I have been many times and always learn so much and win really cool prizes and swag. Here’s our podcast giving an overview of the 2012 event.

With so much to offer, you’ll want to make sure you’re close to the action, which is why we’ve booked accommodations at the Americana Hotel, located only three blocks away from the Moscone Center.

You can choose one of two packages for your San Francisco getaway. You can stay for five nights in the city, or for seven, depending on your personal time frame. The package includes airfare, a hotel stay and a Macworld ticket for one great price, and transportation is never hard to find either in this bustling metropolis. With the Americana Hotel within walking distance to world-class eateries, coffee shops, bars, Union Square, and great shopping, you can traverse the city for free. Or jump on the famous red trolleys and adventure beyond the city limits.

We’re making this getaway as easy as possible for you, so check out the deals we’ve scored for you and make sure to book by Nov. 21, to secure these prices!

Doc & JK:  I know this is not your kuliana, but tell the web designers that the “Home” tab on the top banner only takes you to TJ MAXX.  It’s been like that for days.  It would be good if I’m in the market for a dress!
