The Nonstop crew had been dying to try REAL a Gastropub for weeks, but we all knew that the menu was extensive and a little heavy, so we needed to round up eaters to help us try as many items as we could handle. We also knew there are 224 unique beers available, so wanted to be able to sample as much as we could from that selection, as well. Here’s a sampling of what we ate and drank on our little excursion.

REAL a Gastropub (2 of 20)
One of the coolest things about REAL is the flights of craft beer that you can sample if you're not ready to commit to a larger serving. At $3.50 a 3.5 oz glass, you can get as many as you want. We ordered four, leaving the specifics up to our waitress, and ended up with a varietal cross-section of beers that ranged from a fragrant Mana Wheat that reminded us of summer and fresh-cut grass to a sweet and heavy Scotch ale.
REAL's extensive beer menu sets it apart, with over 225 brews listed in spreadsheet form on the menu. It's the only place in town, besides Bar 35, where you'll find this extensive a variety.

Went last night and it was awesome, Had the Deshuetes The Stoic, and had the Poutine. Both were amazing. Definitely have to put this place on my favorites list.
