More than 1200 people turned out for the Hawaii music industry’s big awards gala last night, the 34th annual Na Hoku Hanohano Awards. The big winners of the night — taking home multiple trophies — were Kuana Torres Kahele, Waipuna, Jake Shimabukuro, and Starr Kalahiki. Kahele, in fact, won six awards.
