The cast and crew of CBS’ “Hawaii Five-0″ turned up near the Hawaii State Capitol this morning to film a scene at the Eternal Flame, a monument dedicated in 1994 as a tribute to military veterans. Alex O’Loughlin (Det. Steve McGarrett) and “LOST” alum Terry O’Quinn were on the scene. Ed Morita captured a few shots of the set:
O’Quinn, who returns to the island to join fellow “LOST” star Daniel Dae Kim on the series this year, plays a lieutenant commander with the Navy SEALs who trained Det. McGarrett.
“Five-0″ is well into production on its second season, which will once again debut early in Honolulu at a “Sunset on the Beach” screening on Sept. 10. The rest of the country will have to wait until Sept. 19 for the network broadcast premiere.
