It was a beautiful evening in Kaka’ako (no rain!), as another edition of Eat the Street — this one focusing on all things spicy — unfolded. Although an estimated 4,800 turned out, the lines were manageable and the mood was comfortable and mellow. People mingled and ate without stress, while vendors still enjoyed a bang-up night, with many selling out by the event’s end. As far as the food? Lots of delish dishes spiced up the night.
