Were you in Kakaako last night? Among the thousands who streamed into the fest of food, shopping, fashion shows, music, skateboarding and street performers that turned Auahi Street into a happy scene?
Honolulu Night Market, celebrating all things pop, was pretty awesome. Pork belly pizza, mochi cupcakes, Moroccan eggplant stew, luau stew. Street bands, three fashion shows (the swimwear pageant was jam-packed), Sing the Body and Taimane live on her uke. Pop-up retail featured a completely new lineup of booths, including a photo booth, and Mojo Barbershop was there.
If you missed it, mark the third Saturday of each month on your calendar. Honolulu Night Market will be back. Meanwhile, here are highlights from last night.
