Battle of the Bands semifinals

Local band Paradise X emerging as last night’s winner at Hard Rock Cafe in Waikiki


The third qualifying round of the the annual Hard Rock Cafe’s Battle of the Bands continued Friday, with local band Paradise X emerging as the night’s winner. Paradise X will now go head-to-head with fellow finalists
82Fifty and Sing the Body for an opportunity to represent Hawaii in the regional competition.

Aside from international exposure, the winner will get to play the main stage of the Hard Rock Calling music festival in Hyde Park, London.

The final round for the Hawaii Battle of the Bands will take place Saturday, March 10, at 10 p.m. Here’s a video and photos from Paradise X’s performance.
