We started with some lighter items from the vegetarian menu. First up was the hummus & baba ganoush with grilled flatbread, which was excellent finger food to whet our appetites for the dishes to come.

Ed Morita spent more than a decade working as a pastry chef at some of the country's premiere resorts and restaurants, including the Halekulani Hotel, The Greenbrier Resort & Spa in West Virginia, Bay Harbor Yacht Club in Michigan and Longhi’s Restaurant in Honolulu. Everything looks surreal. Can I ask what kind of lens you're using to get such awsome "bokeh" effects? Are you also using a ring flash around the lens?
