Dash Gastropub (2 of 19)
So what's a gastropub?
Well, it's a little ill-defined. Even Webster's doesn't list the word. In general it's a pub (that would be an unpretentious bar) that serves high-end food. Usually bearing rustic names like Brickyard or The Spotted Pig.
Whether or not Dash is a true gastropub, I couldn't care less. I'll tell you the bar focus is on beer (20 kinds of bottled and draft) and mixed drinks, many on the sweeter side. Small wine and sake menus. There are dart boards. The place is open until 2 a.m. And I'm not sure what to say about the cherry blossoms.
In my mind I'm noting all this like so many points on a checklist. My real questions are what kind of food does Dash serve? And how good is it?
