I'm judging Dash solely by its food, and on this basis it's very good. The dishes I still think about are the burger, fries, fried rice and mochi, which is an eclectic statement. Nothing hits you over the head with shoyu, garlic, spice or sugar, which is common in both local bars and Japanese izakaya. There's restraint, and balance, and fun touches like takuan confetti and honey ume.
I should add that if you're over 30, you're going to feel like an oldster here. But it's worth it.
