there's nothing better than a good tomato, and there's nothing worse than one that isn't good,
my country boy father loved them. my grandparents grew them on their little farm. from puberty until he was 16, my dad was allergic. he would break out in hives and welts, but he never stopped eating them. wherever we lived when i was a kid, my dad had a tomato patch.
i'm only slightly sensitive. if i eat them or a sauce made with them, i gotta get up and pee five or six times at night - i know; "thanks for sharing", right?

The nice thing, compared to other ETS events, is the fact that it makes for gorgeous pops of color in the photos! I don't care for tomatoes, though, so am okay with missing this event.
