Did this: Off-Premise dinner at Oasis

An elegant “underground” dinner with a 1920s theme, featuring chef Ala Sutton of Le Guignol in an oceanfront setting

After seeing the edgy Off-Premise dinner that Mari Taketa attended in November, I was intrigued. This month’s dinner was less gritty and more glam, set at Oasis World Estates by Kathy Ireland in Aina Haina.

Did This: Off Premise at Oasis

After catching a shuttle from Aina Haina Shopping Center to the fabulous Oasis World Estates, we were greeted by waitstaff with elegant canapes.

Sorry I can't reply to you on the threads, @Johngarcia & @Livefyre are checking on it.

Mari, Marv: This was the extreme opposite of the warehouse in Waipahu!! But the day Mari has more street cred than me, well.....

DK: Yes! It did kind of make me think of LA, but with a better view. And yes! No LSD. No roaming, either, tho.

oooh, very l.a. --though, they occur a lot at the chefs' homes in l.a. -- so it's like a roaming rave party a la 1992, only this time you get fed food, not lsd?

so glam!! worlds away from that gaping warehouse in sundown waipahu. when i cdn't find the right warehouse amid acres and acres of empty buildings and streets i nearly drove home out of nervousness, tho when i found it, the custom-created dining room was done up elegantly. curious abt the next underground dinner theme/location.
