Kawaii Kon is a 3 day Anime Convention and Conference dedicated to creating a broader awareness of, and appreciation for Japanese animation by celebrating the richness of the artform. Here you will find the most current information about our show.
A few highlights of Kawaii Kon this year include a concert by pop-punk/grunge band Eyeshine, the Moonlight Magic Ball, and several special voice actor/musician guests including Johnny Yong Bosch (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” “Bleach,” “Trigun”), Chris Sabat (“Dragonball,” “Full Metal Alchemist”), Vic Mignogna (“Full Metal Alchemist,” “Bleach,” “Vampire Knight”) and Lisa Ortiz (“Record of Lodoss War,” “Slayers,” “Yu-Gi-Oh!”).
The big event you don’t want to miss is the Cosplay Contest on Saturday, March 17 at 6 p.m. For those who want to enter, pre-judging happens earlier on Saturday in Video Room 2, from 1-4 p.m.
Since our first convention in 2005, Kawaii Kon has grown to include thousands of annual attendees. Fans, artists and industry guests gather from all over the world for the 3-Day extravaganza. Come on and join in the fun at Kawaii Kon!
