Hawaii: In Real Life ~ Tiare Thomas

Ever need a boost to reach your goals? Here’s a class that helps you make your dreams come true

Do you ever feel like you need extra help in reaching your life goals? Do the goals seem too far out of reach? Believe it or not, maybe all you need to do is make yourself a dream board.

A few years ago, Tiare Thomas (@TiareThomas) was going through a rough time in her life and was trying to figure out what she wanted to do next. She went to a vision board workshop and went to town pouring out her thoughts and organizing her goals — of which she had many. While the event was a fun exercise, she was most impressed that the dreams she put on her board started coming true, quickly … some, within that week.

She achieved so many of her goals that she started to help friends create their own vision boards. They started to realize their dreams quickly, as well, and it grew to the point where Tiare decided to start helping people outside her immediate circle. Since then, she’s helped more than 100 people reach their goals (and she has gone through several of her own boards, as she dreams bigger). Sounds like magic? Maybe, maybe not. Sometimes all it takes is a dream board, in which you organize your thoughts and commit your goals to a tangible, visual object, to get the universe in motion. Here’s more:

We didn’t get to talk a lot in five minutes about the board, so visit HawaiiIRL.com to learn more about Tiare and her dream boards. If you want to take her class, the next one is on September 11:

Melissa, I use to do feng shui and reason I stop for it worked too well.  I wanted to do love feng shui and set up things for it.  In no time guys started to show interest in my daughters from all over.  Even my youngest one who shy got guys hitting on her also.   What funny was the feng shui was meant for me only since I was a widow.  It backfire and ended up on my daughters instead.

Now two daughters married and one to go.  I also now a grandmother too.  As for me yes I have someone in my life .  He happen to be my late husband best friend now my one and only.

Feng Shui do well one thing all must do is to keep home clean and neat for engery to flow all over your home for good luck for you .

you don't hear those 'drop dead in your tracks' smokey voices often. but when you do, you tend to start dreaming. .

i can't wait to see your board. will there froggies? truckers? compression running sox? tiramisu? fists 'o death? i've never used a big board, but i have always maintained an old fashioned Day Runner (remember those?) that contains lists, drawings, clipped pics. when i was still working i had a whole section on Honolulu where i planned my quest to get to know the city like a native.

turkfontaine I can't wait to see my board, either! I couldn't afford a Day Runner when they were in fashion, so used a ghetto version from Hopaco.

Delicate Blossom:  "Whiskey" stole the show!  Fun interview.  This is similar to Dr. Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Successful People.  One of the exercises is to develop a vision aka "dream", and on a weekly basis go over it and work on various goals and objectives to progress toward that vision.  While you don't use a board, there is a planner that ties into everything.  I have found that all these vision things are the same, only different methods, different spokespersons, and different media.  This approach should appeal to the contemporary generation because it is very visual.  Old guys like me who have not achieved their vision find that it becomes blurred with age and eyesight!

Annoddah_Dave exactly! I'm thinking of trying this, next week.
