Sephora opened its third Hawaii store yesterday in Waikiki, showcasing a spacious 7,458 square-foot store. If you love cosmetics, you’ll have a ball in this new store — there are more than 200 brands comprised of 13,000 products, some of which are not just exclusive to Sephora, but to the Waikiki store.
The company had managers and staff come in from the Ala Moana and Pearlridge stores to help get opening day on its way. My favorite makeup artist from Pearlridge, Tracie, was running around prior to the 10 a.m. opening, squealing like a kid in a candy store over the latest and greatest products that haven’t even hit the shelves at Sephora’s other Hawaii stores. Come to think of it, if you’re reading this, those products may already have sold out. Here are some of the people I met and the makeup I, um, saw at the pre-opening festivities.
