Breakfast at Arancino di Mare

We checked out Arancino di Mare’s new breakfast menu

If you’re not too hung over from the International Sushi Day celebrations, you may want to mosey over to Arancino di Mare in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort for breakfast. That’s right, the Waikiki restaurant known for its uniquely Italian dishes for lunch and dinner now has a special breakfast menu. I recently got to try it — and this gallery would be larger, if anyone on the Nonstop team could wake up in time to join me.

Breakfast is served from 7 to 10 a.m. daily and features a beverage bar, three special cocktails (one of which is a bloody Mary, of course), and a small but interesting menu, showcasing their crepes. Well, actually, there are only five crepes on the menu and they went through an extensive R & D period to ensure the batter and fillings were done to their liking. I only tried two, since breakfast was just me and my twitter friend Linh Hoang (@LinhChic), but the other people at the media breakfast said their crepes were all good.

Here’s what my sleepyhead Nonstop friends missed out on:

very sophisto. light and elegant and dainty, kinda like you. but i'm afraid i would have to run right over to Rainbow and fill the void with a stack of pancakes

turkfontaine FINALLY. Someone appropriately recognizes me as the Delicate Blossom that I truly am!!! "Elegant and dainty," indeed.

Thanks for supporting my bff. I should have dined with you guys so that we could taste all of the crepes! I had the pancetta and potato one this past Saturday for breakfast. I used my $50 gift card. Awww snaps!

HuyVo I know! We would have, but it was humid and then it started drizzling. Your crepes looked great!

This looks delicious -- and nice and light for breakfast, which is how I prefer it! It's nice to hear about a chewy crepe, too. Too often they're thin and just fall apart. Thanks for the review and photos!

annedreshfield thanks for reading! This was definitely a nice departure from a boring breakfast.

Delicate Blossom:  It seemed that the breakfast was more Italian than US or local?  What about a breakfast pizza with scrambled eggs, spam, and risotto?  Just kidding!

Annoddah_Dave oh, they never said it was gonna be local kine breakfast! That's why at the end I said it was nice to have something different....everyone has American/local breakfast.
