Nonstop photographer Eric Baranda stopped by the University of Hawaii at Manoa on Thursday evening for the annual Taste of Manoa event, sponsored by UH Manoa’s Student Affairs Dining Services It was a chance for students to chow down on gourmet food for… well… really cheap. The $1 plates, prepared by SODEXO’s food service chefs, included fare like Asian long rice beef salad, roast pork tenderloin, furikake chicken bites, grilled miso marinated salmon on spicy tuna and avocado maki sushi and chocolate mousse.
