Party pics: Super CW’s Last Ever

Super CW, aka Christa Wittmier, threw her Last Ever Best Ever party to celebrate her birthday, a year of photos and raise funds for Pow Wow Hawaii

Super CW, aka Christa Wittmier, threw her Last Ever Best Ever party… a gathering that traditionally is to celebrate her birthday, a year of photos and support a worthy cause or two — this year it was raising funds for Pow Wow, the art movement that Christa has been instrumental in helping to promote and organize. Sheer coincidence that the prolific blogger who covered everything fun on Oahu and beyond is finally putting her photo blog to rest on the same day the world was supposed to end.. but at least this party delivered what it promised.

Drink specials and free Peligroso tequila samples, gorgeous people everywhere, photos that Christa took this year, art by the Pow Wow artists, visuals by Joseph Paahana and music by DJs Soundcheck, Delve and Compose were just a few of the things that made this party another one for the books. The highlight at the beginning of the night was a fashion show featuring Matt Bruening’s new line, BLAQ, and later on, special guest DJs The Knocks went on to keep the party dancing.

Like Christa says, ” It’s our life. It’s our scene. It’s Hawaii.” We’ll miss your blog, CW, and seeing you out at all the cool events, but it’s the year for change, right?

Had fun over there - too bad I missed Matt Bruening's fashion show (at 7 p.m.). Stayed there from like 8pm to 12am midnight... Partied until the break of dawn !!!
