Thousands of people dressed in green packed Nuuanu Avenue and the blocks surrounding Murphy’s Bar & Grill for the 25th annual St. Patrick’s Day block party on Saturday night. One of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the Pacific, the huge annual festival sponsored by Murphy’s featured a live music stage with the Doolin’ Rakes and Piranha Brothers, a beer garden and lots to see, do, eat and drink on the street.
