Three of the best bartenders on the island gathered at Fresh Cafe to show off their amazing mixology skills and to help launch Mike Prasad’s new mixology newsletter, mxlgy.com, on Tuesday evening. Kyle Reutner of Imbibe Hawaii, Joey Gottesman of Better Brands and Josh Perez of thirtyninehotel and Brasserie du Vin each made one drink with Oxley Gin, Corzo Tequila and Bacardi 8 Aged Rum. VIP guests ate special appetizers crafted by thirtyninehotel’s Chef Jamal and pupu provided by Da Kitchen, tried the cocktails and voted on their favorites.
