Nonstop photographer Eric Baranda dropped in to check out the costumes and the scene when anime conference Kawaii Kon held an all-ages costume party and release party for the limited-edition Kawaii Kon 2012 pin at Hard Rock Cafe in Waikiki Saturday afternoon. The party included a smoothie bar, live performances by local band Eleven Staples and a rocker cosplay contest for everyone who came dressed up.
