Guest photographer Eric Baranda dropped in to NextDoor for a packed show by legendary turntablist and producer DJ Krush on Saturday night. DJ Krush, who has gone from being one of the pioneers of Japanese hip-hop in his home city of Tokyo to an influential force on hip-hop worldwide, stopped over in Honolulu as part of his 20th anniversary tour, joined by Boston hip-hop artist Mr. Lif, of the Hip Hop group The Perceptionists, plus some of Hawaii’s best hip-hop talent, including DJ Packo, Monarx, Meiso and DJ Vince.
