Renowned British trance trio Above & Beyond, who own and produce the Anjunabeats trance label, blew up Kakaako Waterfront Park on Friday with a much-anticipated show that brought out thousands of electronic music fans. The show started at sunset, with Topher Jones and Manufactured Superstars opening, and Above & Beyond going on at 9:30 p.m. and playing all the way til close. Ranked as the #8 top DJs in the world by DJ Magazine last year, A&B brought their favorites out for the crowd, kicking off with “Alchemy” and playing club anthems like “Air for Life,” “Liquid Love,” “Black Room Boy” and “Sun & Moon,” as well as tracks by other artists on their Anjunabeats label.
