Party pics: 80s Pop Muzik Karaoke Finals

80s Pop Muzik bid farewell to 2012 at Bar 35 Saturday with a night of karaoke as the finalists sang their hearts out for prizes and bragging rights

80s Pop Muzik, hosted by DJ Nocturna and Lana Saldania, bid farewell to 2012 at Bar 35 Saturday with a night of song – karaoke, that is. The finalists from the first and second karaoke contests, plus some audience members who were in the right place at the right time, competed, singing their hearts out for prizes and bragging rights. Out of the 13 finalists, the winner and runner-up were chosen based on vocal ability, stage presence and crowd reaction.

Congratulations to Shain Miller, who took first place for her passionate, smooth rendition of Bonnie Raitt’s ” Something to Talk About,” and the runner-up, Marcus Briggans, who entered on a whim that night and wowed everyone with his rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”!
