I had the chance to sit down with Actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa to talk story about acting, his teaching efforts and about discovering Twitter and social media to connect with fans.
With a recent appearance on “Hawaii Five-0,” Tagawa takes a moment to reflect on his role and to talk about how his next 60 years are devoted to sharing his experiences with others.

Cary is in my son Nathaniel's favorite movie, Johnny Tsunami. He wishes he had a grandfather like that, still wishes, both have passed. My son wants to know if they ever talk about doing another in that series and if so can he audition :) Nathaniel has always wanted to be an actor.
My hope is Cary will become a regular on 5-0. Would love to have seen him cast as a good guy though, local guy who knows everybody and is the go to guy for inside info. Too late though!
Great job John!
