Seeing that shuffleboard brought back memories of my dad.  When we were growing up, he used to take us to the Pearl City Elks Club on Sundays for breakfast.  Afterwards, we'd go to their game room and play pool and shuffleboard.  Good times...

Great review and article. Everything looked yummy, and at least you got to try the strawberry and bacon dish - I keep missing out. Also by the way, when you say "series of gastropubs" that implies more than 2. I know P + J and REAL, am I missing one?

RKYHew Hi Ryan! I was also thinking about Dash Gastropub, which opened at the beginning of this year on McCully, and the Miso & Ale pop-up gastropub, which is hosted at venues all over town.

Nice, Tracy!! Yeah, the handcrafted drinks are definitely a reason to go. If I go back, it's gotta be at happy hour, though...the slabs of bacon for $6 at that time were easier to take than $12!
