I had an amazing time at my first Fourth of July at Hickam Harbor. The weather was beautiful. It wasn’t overwhelmingly crowded, and the event offered a wide variety of food, including Dixie Grill and Gordon Biersch, and featured some great musical acts. National recording artists Plain White T’s were the first band to perform, rocking out in the late afternoon sun to an enthusiastic crowd. Later, as the sun set and people began to leave the beach to move to the grassy lawns, local band Kings of Spade played through the evening until the spectacular fireworks finale.

Hey I was there! I love that show. Go every year.
Go there just before the Kings of Spade. Although I didn't think their set really went that well with a 4th of July, they are good. That girl can sing. Killer rendition of Sweet Child of Mine, loved the Slash hat.
