Dec. 31, 5 p.m.-12:30 a.m. at Ko Olina Resort — Bring your picnic gear and watch what is billed as the largest (certainly one of the most spectacular) fireworks display on Oahu over four oceanfront lagoons at Ko Olina, with a synchronized soundtrack and opportunities for viewing from land and sea. Before midnight, catch, a family-oriented movie on the Grand Lawn at Lagoon 4.

Free viewing, $20 parking; for more information, check; all ages.
