This month's ARTafterDARK celebrates modern Japanese culture from Tokyo, with taiko drumming, sword fighting, a cosplay photo booth, manga, japanese crafts and calligraphy, plus the featured gallery exhibition, "Hiroshige: An Artist's Journey."

Honolulu Museum of Art; Friday, June 29 at 6 p.m.; $10, free for Academy members; 21+
