Bonus footage of Melissa Chang, Jason Kim (@turkeyboy808) and I talking story with fire knife dancer, Micah Naruo at Cirque du Soleil’s Alegria media day. Some of the things we discussed were Micah learning how to put on stage makeup, how performers’ masks are made, turning athletes into Cirque acrobats and tattoos.

    Merci beaucoup! Hope you enjoy the show. We canʻt wait to open on Oct. 15. Wait, I take that back. Weʻre having a wonderful time relaxing in Hawaiʻi. A few more days off, and then we canʻt wait to open!

Ed Morita spent more than a decade working as a pastry chef at some of the country's premiere resorts and restaurants, including the Halekulani Hotel, The Greenbrier Resort & Spa in West Virginia, Bay Harbor Yacht Club in Michigan and Longhi’s Restaurant in Honolulu.
