Hawaii Food & Wine Festival mahalo reception

Organizers and sponsors gathered at the Ka’Ikena Restaurant at Kapiolani Community College for a reception

I’m proud and excited to once again be the official blogger for the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival.

Plans are underway for the 2013, but before things go into full swing, the organizers and sponsors gathered at the Ka’Ikena Restaurant at Kapiolani Community College for a reception to thank those who helped to make the 2012 festival a huge success.

At the gathering, event co-chairs Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong awarded $210,000 raised by the festival in partnership with the visitor industry to five nonprofit organizations.

About Ed Morita

Ed Morita spent more than a decade working as a pastry chef at some of the country's premiere resorts and restaurants, including the Halekulani Hotel, The Greenbrier Resort & Spa in West Virginia, Bay Harbor Yacht Club in Michigan and Longhi’s Restaurant in Honolulu.
