‘The Lion King’ to return to Honolulu

The stage adaptation of the the animated classic will begin its eight-week engagement at Blaisdell Concert Hall on January 14, 2014

Disney Theatrical Productions on Tuesday announced the return of “The Lion King” to Honolulu at a media event at Washington Place.

The stage adaptation of the the animated classic will begin its eight-week engagement at Blaisdell Concert Hall on January 14, 2014, and run through March 9. The last time the show was in Hawaii was in 2007.

Group ticket sales of 10 or more will begin Thursday, March 28. Orders can be placed at 808-593-9468. Individual ticket sales will be be available to the general public starting July 20.
