Here’s a guide to where the Pro Bowl players will be this weekend, and who’s hosting what

This weekend, the stars will be all over Honolulu for the Pro Bowl. That the Pro Bowl is a big deal party-wise is an understatement; if there’s one thing these guys know how to do (other than play football), it’s throw a party. Here’s a guide to where the players will be, and who’s hosting what!

All Star Pro Bowl Kickoff Party Waikiki

Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 9 pm at Zanzabar Nightclub — The first of three Pro Bowl parties at Zanzabar. Who’s going: Host Willis McGahee (#23 Denver Broncos), and others, including Dwight Freeney (#93, Indianapolis COLTS), Patrick Peterson (#21 Arizona Cardinals) and Javon Kearse (former #93 Tennessee Titans). Warren Moon & Tony Gonzalez Pro Bowl Player’s Party

Thursday, Jan. 26 at 8 pm at Pearl Ultralounge — After 12 years, this red-carpet charity party is known as THE place to be; if you can only attend one Pro Bowl party this weekend, make it this one. Who’s going: NFL Hall of Famer Warren Moon and Tony Gonzalez (Atlanta Falcons), NFL cheerleaders and a mix of Pro Bowl players, current NFL players and retired Hall of Famers.

Warren Sapp Pro Bowl Party

Friday, Jan. 27 at 7 pm at Kanpai Bar & Grill — Who’s going: Retired NFL player Warren Sapp, “NFL Live” host Trey Wingo and others.

Players Lounge Pro Bowl Party

Friday, Jan. 27 at 9 pm at Zanzabar Nightclub — The second of three Pro Bowl parties at Zanzabar. Who’s going: Host Patrick Peterson (#21 Arizona Cardinals) and others, including Willis McGahee (#23 Denver Broncos), Dwight Freeney (#93, Indianapolis COLTS) and Javon Kearse (former #93 Tennessee Titans). Jesse Sapolu Pro Bowl Party at Addiction

Friday, Jan. 27 at 9 pm at Addiction Nightclub (The Modern) — Who’s going: San Francisco 49ers Alumni Jesse Sapolu, various players.

Pro VIP Celebrity Pool Party

Saturday, Jan. 28 from noon-6 pm at the Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber Resort — A hot pool party with celebrity guests, DJs and a $1000 bikini contest. Who’s going: Various pro football players.

Official NFL Pro Bowl Saturday Night Party at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel

Saturday, Jan. 28 at 6 pm at The Royal Hawaiian — This semi-private NFL on-location party includes food, live music and performances by Pro Bowl cheerleaders. Who’s going: Pro Bowl cheerleaders, NFL mascots and various players.

$199 per person, presale tickets available at ticketmaster.com; 21+.

Pro Bowl All-Star Block Party

Saturday, Jan. 28 from 7-10 pm on Kalakaua Avenue, Waikiki — Waikiki’s huge block party to celebrate the Pro Bowl includes six entertainment stages, food and local crafts on the street. Who’s going: NFL players, cheerleaders, mascots and local celebrities.

Free, all ages.

Cal Johnson Pro Bowl Party

Saturday, Jan. 28 at 10:30 pm at Tsukiji Restaurant — Who’s going: Rapper Gucci Mane, Calvin “Megatron” Johnson of the Detroit Lions, and Nate Burleson of the Detroit Lions.

$10, 21+.

Official 2012 NFL Pro Bowl Tailgate Party

Sunday, Jan. 29 from 11 am-2 pm at Richardson Field — The official NFL Tailgate Party will highlight the food, sounds and iconic pop culture items of decades of football. Who’s going: NFL Players, Pro Bowl cheerleaders and NFL mascots.

$225 per person (game admission not included), tickets available on

Pro Ballerz Pro Bowl Ball

Sunday, Jan. 29 at 9 pm at Zanzabar Nightclub — The last of three Pro Bowl parties at Zanzabar, this one wraps up the weekend with a ball.
